*Estuvo la raja* means it was fantastic. Heard constantly among friends. Chile does this repeatedly — takes a vulgar root and makes it the highest compliment.
Crude in origin, like several Chilean superlatives, and then flipped entirely positive.
Vulgar underneath. Use *bacán* at work or with anyone’s parents.
