Agreement
By using Lingo Kaiava you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Lingo Kaiava provides AI-assisted language practice. Kaiava is an AI tutor, not a human teacher, certified instructor, or professional translator. Outputs may be incorrect or incomplete. You are responsible for how you use the information in real-world situations.
Accounts
- You must provide a valid email and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to bypass limits, or violate these Terms.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Stripe customer portal or by contacting support. Refunds are handled case-by-case within 14 days of purchase for annual plans; monthly plans may be cancelled before the next billing cycle.
Acceptable use
You may not use Lingo Kaiava to harass others, generate illegal content, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or overload our infrastructure. Automated bulk access is prohibited without written permission.
Intellectual property
The Lingo Kaiava brand, curriculum, software, and design are owned by Kaiava. You retain ownership of content you submit; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee fluency outcomes, exam results, or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kaiava’s total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50 if you use the free tier.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
