The most notorious word in Mexican Spanish. Grammatically it means "right now." In practice it means anything from this second to sometime this week, decided entirely by tone and context. "Ahorita voy" from a friend heading out the door means now. "Ahorita lo hago" from someone on the couch means eventually. Mexicans navigate this natively and find the confusion funny.
Diminutive of "ahora" (now). The diminutive softens it, and in softening it, destroys the deadline.
If you actually need something immediately, say "ahorita mismo" or just "ya." Otherwise you may be waiting a long time.
