An emphasis particle tacked onto the end of sentences.
Adds emphasis and nothing else. "Ya pe," "sรญ pe," "vamos pe." It is one of the fastest markers of Lima Spanish and, like Chilean po, is almost impossible to misuse.
Worn-down "pues," the same way Chile's "po" came about.
Do not mix it with Chilean "po." Same origin, different countries, and locals notice instantly.
