Yes-actually — the word that contradicts a negative. English has no equivalent.
If someone says "you didn't call me," English forces you into "yes I did!" German just says "Doch." It also works as a softener inside sentences ("Komm doch mit" = do come along) and as emphasis. It is the single most useful German word learners never get taught.
French has "si" for this job. English genuinely has nothing, which is why learners underuse it for years.
